Delay in gas reading

Hi,
my electricity readout is nearly real-time in my dash but my gas sensor reading seems to have a constant delay of 2-3 hours.... Is this normal ?
I'm using a modern readout with RJ-11 connector on my meter.

Thanks.

Paul

Have you looked into the FLM's syslog? Are the gas readings registered with the electricity readings? What do you mean by "modern readout with RJ11"? Is this a port that just offers connection via an RJ11 plug? What is the mode of operation? Pulse or P1? - in any case, corresponding to the syslog registering entries there should be no delay...

My gas readings (P1 port) are also a little delayed because the gas meter only reports once per hour to the electricity meter. I just checked, its 45 minutes behind now, I think that's normal.

Hi,
I all forgot about the webinterface of the device itself.... I tried searching the flukso.net website for clues...
I'ts already a long time ago I installed my device but if I'm correct one can only access it through an UTP connection and not via WIFI. Correct ?

Thanks,
Paul

Paulus, do you have the Flukso manual laying around somewhere ?

Paulus, with the current firmware you should be able to log in over wifi too... Just browse to its IP address.

Hi,
I tried yesterday and I can reach the webinterface and I must enter a name/password.
But I can't login with all my known combinations....
Is there a standard Name/Pw for this device ?

Does this mean I have the correct firmware for WIFI editing ?

Thanks,

Paul

if you get a login you have the right firmware ;)

have you tried root/root? I think the default is somewhere in the manual

Gas meters based on wireless M-bus will only update their readings to the electricity meter every hour to preserve battery life. That's 'smart meter' technology.
