no reading from P1 kamstrup

Hi,

this day i received the flukso box. Looking pretty good!

Its configured on my local network on ip 192.168.0.142 and my mac is on 192.168.2.100. All working fine, meaning I can connect to the webinterface.

I hooked it up to the P1 port on my dumb kamstrup meter, but I am not getting a signal. Isee posts in the syslog like POST https://api.flukso.net/device/40e73c4b:200 but i dont have the feeling it is recording something.

What I am unsure of is that the sensor page only shows 5 sensors, but the P1 hangs on port 6... so maybe it is still disabled, but on flukso.net i see prefilled 2 smart-main sensors, so i guess these i need, so asking the api for http://192.168.0.142:8080/sensor/2dc07068223f32292bcf960cdd9b23ce?versio... should return some readings isn't it ? anyway it returns something, but it is an empty array.

I must admit that i reset the box twice (>10<20 secs) and i ran fp1 once from terminal.

can you help me out ?

and syslog complains about empty telegrams

hmmm reading "no-meter-readings-landis-gyr-zmf110-smart-meter-over-p1" I have some different voltages

with and without rj11 inserted 5- and 6a is 5V
5- and 6b gives a 2.5 V pulse each 10 seconds

hmmmm ... I had indeed quite some difficulty getting it all to work. And I still don't know whether the manufacturer (Bart/Icarus75) did something remotely or not. You may want to have a look at my 'adventures': Empty smart meter P1 telegrams

Although my post of Sunday 4 Jan says that I wasn't successful, when I looked some days later all my smart meter data was recorded (see my last post on Sunday 11 Jan in same thread)

Success

thanks bellyf, but my telegrams are a bit more empty than yours, I hope Bart/icarus are able to take a deeper look.

@amigo
1/ Did you double-check the wiring on the P1 cable? Verify that there are no loose ends on the screw terminal side.
2/ What smart meter brand/model do you have?

Hi icarus, cool thats quick.
I did check the wire colours. I will check the cable later today if the end2end connections are fine. But as i get a voltage pulse each 10 secs measured on the flukso screws I think the connection is just fine.

My kamstrup looks like this, but later today i will post exact details.

If you're measuring spikes on input 6b every 10secs, then the P1 connection should be ok. The Kamstrup is compliant with the DSMR2.2 standard. The new FLMs are now by default configured to work with the DSMR4.0. You can force port 6 to work with DSMR2.2 by running these commands from the FLM's shell:

  1. root@flukso-e5009c:~$ uci set flukso.main.dsmr=2.2
  2. root@flukso-e5009c:~$ uci commit
  3. root@flukso-e5009c:~$ /etc/init.d/flukso restart

If this does not work, then I could take a peek at your FLM remotely.

COOL that helps ! so they gave me an ancient kamstrup meter, with readings on display per Kwh only.

anyway now i can try finding out what is spending my 1-0:1.7.0(0000.66*kW) when practically anything in house is turned off now.

Now getting to the noob questions.
I get data on P1, where can i find on which sensor hash it is being recorded ?

calling the api (http://192.168.0.142:8080/sensor/f35b9d226d6b211c128d7f7ab1a00d5d?versio...) with hashes found in /www/sensor is giving me empty values so somehow the configuration is not ok yet, also dash doesnot show me anything yet.
