Water sensor with flusko v2b

Hello,
I've recently setup a new flukso and everything is working fine, except the water sensor.

I seem to be having the same problem as FAFOT in the above post.

The sensor is recognized in the settings page > sensors page.

But I only receive errors on the Dash > Water page:

"Error - No water sensors to display. Please select another sensor type."

Any suggestionts?

Your water sensor has been correctly provisioned and is currently enabled. You will only see entries for your electricity sensor in the syslog. So double check whether the water sensor is correctly installed and connected to port 2 of the FLM. You might also short pins 2+ and 2- a couple of time and check for entries in the syslog. That way you can make sure that the FLM's internals are working ok.

Thanks very much, after some troubleshooting I have it working now. I guess I had a bad connection somewhere.

I don't understand how the reed switch actually works inside the water meter...? Can anyone explain it to me?
