Error - The call for sensor <sensor name> experienced a timeout. You are probably not in the same local network as the FLM.

Krijg bovengemende fout, altijd en iedere keer. Nu al circa een half jaar.

Firefox (F12 dev mode) zegt hierover:

Wat nu?

Ok, I did read your link about the callback error. However, in this case the problem seems to do with javascript. What forum section should i refer?

gebhardm's picture

With respect to errors it is either the installation or the developer section... What is your FLM's version? Did you refresh the browser cache? With respect to frontend javascript, the browser is the first place to look, so empty your cache at first...

Firefox became quite picky in its last version either...

Ok, I appologize. How do I move this thread to the proper section? Then we should continue our discussion there.
Thanks for your help!

As you don't actually describe what you have done, I assume (sic) that you are referring to the "minute tab" issue complained about quite a lot in this forum.
My (sic) solution on PC as well as Mac is to press the litte shield symbol left of the address line (sequence is back button, shield symbol, lock symbol https://www.flukso.net/dash#electricity/minute). Clicking on the shield symbol opens an amodal window stating something about "Firefox has blocked unsecure content"; at the bottom of this window is a button by default stating "block further" with a little triangle to the right; clicking on the triangle opens two options: "deactivate protection" and "not now"; chosing "deactivate protection" makes the minute tab working - I actually don't know why this does not seem to work for others.
It is the "mixed content" discussion you will find a lot of other posts about.
If this is not your issue, please describe, I and others are rather bad in just guessing....

Ok, your guessing was right and so is your solution! There was indeed a shield symbol. I never noticed. And even if I noticed, this still would not have given me a clue what was going on.
I suspected a change of local IP address or some changes in JS as a potential cause.
I am sorry. I am not an expert in any of this.
Also, I saw an old thread on this error message, but not the "mixed content" discussion you are referring to. It did not pop up as anything to do with this issue.
Nevertheless, I am grateful for your help. My flukso seems again in good order.
It has saved my tons of kwhours.
Any discussion on Flukso seems good enough for Negawatts. I does save the planet...
Thanks to you all. This proved to be be a very lively forum.
