Flukso presumbly connected but no sensor data

Hi Guys,

I brought a flukso and it's been a massive pain.

I've been able to log into it via ethernet and that's been fine, I've setup the wifi and associated it with my AP fine.

I've got 2 50amp clamps, one is set to the solar the other to the main electrical and I've got them on ports 1 and 2 respectively.

I've enabled both sensors on the ports page...

Current clamp ports 3
Number of phases 1 (assuming so being a residential house)
both sensors set to enabled with 240 voltage.

On the status page however I'm getting the following error....

12/1/2014, 10:14:32 AM
Status

sensor board hardware compatibility check failed Internal error. Please report this error message to Flukso.

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. Is it normal to not be able to access the Flukso via it's IP it gets from the wifi router i.e. is the interface only accessible on ethernet via 192.168.255.1?

Thanks

I've got the web interface working on wifi now by making changes to the firewall, now I've noticed with the senor issue when I try to save a senor config I get...

Saving sensor parameters: ......
Committing changes: true
Syncing configuration: gh 1028 4 .. ok
Hardware check (major: 1028, minor: 4) .. nok
Error. Major version does not match.
Error. Sensor board minor version is not supported by this package.
Use -f to override this check at your own peril.

Restarting the Flukso daemon: ok

Just an update on this royal pain in the ass.

I've spent about 4 hours on this thing today, still little luck, tried power cycling 30 odd times, toggling for 10 seconds multiple times, I've now tried re-loading the firmware and after stuffing around with that the box restarted and now the wifi light is constantly blinking, no heart light which according to the sub par documentation is supposed to indicate that the firmware flashing process worked successfully.

I'm about to turf this device, can anyone help at all.

So the boxes current state...
- LEDS: Power on, Ethernet Solid, Wifi light blinking constantly
- UI: Only text based ui, the graphics have dissapeared and the login screen no longer comes up just get a text menu. (Sounds like the firmware didn't load properly, surprise surprise, I've tried loading the firmware at least 8 times now though so not keen on repeating those same steps).
- SSH: Well that's a plus at least putty works, I have a device that I can log into via putty and run commands on, not what I brought this for, but certainly it's most useful function thus far.

Can Bart or someone SSH into the device and fix it, any help at all would be appreciated.

OK another update...

Cleared the cache and got the UI via the web interface, looks like an older interface but it's got all the stuff in it and seems to be doing the right thing.

Still getting a synchronization with sensor board failed error but!

I've tried going to the sensor page and pressing save like in some other threads but no luck.

You're now running r214 on your FLM; which is quite old. I've scheduled a remote upgrade to the latest firmware. So please leave your FLM running. The synchronisation failure might point to a sensor board failure. I'll investigate this after the firmware upgrade has taken place.

Seems indeed like a communication issue between the main board and the sensor board in your FLM. Please return the unit to Rowetel and ask for a replacement FLM.

Cheers
/Bart.
