LAN only internet connection

Hi there,

Do I need the wifi to connect to the internet to post the readings?
At my home, I'd would like to eliminate the use of wifi connections as much as possible.
Where do I change the network settings, like IP-address?
regards,
Bart

[Markus beat me by 22 seconds.] I'm also weary of too much wifi floating around the house, so the Flukso runs through ethernet only and gets its IP from the DHCP pool. No problem at all and much more stable if your wifi AP happens to sit some distance away.

Hi,

How many times I need to press "toggle" button or when?

Thanks

Is there anything else that needs to be changed? I am able to do the following:

1. Access the Flukso locally in DHCP Server mode via 192.168.255.1 via direct computer connection
2. The Flukso can connect to the Router/ADSL Modem via Wifi (for some reason it won't connect via the EoP Wifi access point bridge) and achieve Internet access.

After toggling to DHCP Client mode, and plugging the Flukso to the Router/ADSL modem directly, the Flukso never makes contact with the outside world (so network icon lights, but globe light doesn't). The router's DHCP mac table shows the Flukso IP address; but when I put this in it doesn't go through to the setup screen (like it would on 192.168.255.1).

Is there something I'm missing?

Well to answer my own question. I disabled the firewall following the instructions to access the setup page over wifi and it now connects fine via EoP bridge or router.
