There is an android app published for fluksometer.
App can show realtime usage as well as usage for last 24 hours week and a last month if they are reported to flukso.net
For the moment only paid version is available http://goo.gl/peu9n
Ads supported one would be out if I have some time after new year holidays.

It also looks 200% the same ...

sem's picture

you try it :) and say if it's same or not ;)
you can always refund on google play . I don't remember in 15 or 30 minutes.

@ON3PTZ

There is a new link to APK compiled out from the code you pointed out. (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/24003444/FluksoViz/FluksoViz-alpha.apk)

Also, the source code is now kept in Github (https://github.com/jrbenito/FluksoViz). It is open source, GPLv3 and anyone is invited to contribute, I will gladly merge pull requests and will also try in as many devices I can (Samsung´s at least). Please, from now on share the github link.

@SEM

It really looks very very similar. If it is derived work from the OpenSource code we keep you are allowed to modify, compile and sell compiled version at Google Play. However, you are by no means allowed to close the source code (even your modifications). If you derived you work you shall release the source code (and keep selling your app).

And sure, you are right, Google Play allows refund.

Happy new year everyone.

Looks might be misleading. Layout might be simular. But it's done completely different way. I just looked in the code you attached.
My app is much more user friendly and better for battery. Plus it can read you config from fluko.net . You don't need to enter complex codes yourself.
Just try it :) If after that someone would still say it's the same I would be very surprised.

I checked your app . It's looks nice. It's good that I don't need to spend time on free version:)

sem's picture

Hi ,
New version is published.
including better support for small screens and tablet.
If anyone have an issues with specific device I would really appreciate a feedback , and would make a fix ASAP.
Sorry , I can't test on all possible devices .

Hi SEM,

i also bought your App and it works realy great, the best advantages opposite to the free version:
1. works on local network (with "near" live view) AND from everywhere via Internet (24h, Week and Month).
2. sign in with Webaccount and automatic Sensor and Probe Update (no extra Keys to enter)
3. Easy Sensor switching via Menu

Realy worth the 4,99€

Works stable with my Acer Iconia A501, Meizu MX, HTC Desire S.

Thank you for this App ;-)

sem's picture

Really glad to hear this
If you have any ideas how I can improve, it I would really appreciate.
Just post it here and I would put it on my roadmap.
For now I'm trying to test as much devices as possible .Currently I'm working on some usability improvements.
Hope to have an update soon

New version was just release on Play store
Now in case you don't have access to realtime sensor data application would fallback to last available information posted to the flukso servers. It would automatically reconnect to realtime data if it become available again.
Enjoy
P.S. Any feedback, positive or negative is welcome. Please add review on play store if possible. I would like to make app better.

chriz99's picture

is it possible to display usage also for gas and water or only for electricity?

cheers
chris

sem's picture

Not yet
But I'm planning to do it . First I need to have it working so I can adjust app to it.
Plus I need to think about usability. For example realtime for Gaz or Water doesn't make much sense

sem's picture

There was a problem detected with Android 4.0.3.
It should be fixed in version 1.1.3
Please consider update if you are running this version .
Update was just publish and should be available for download within an hour

sem's picture

Great idea
I was thinking already for something like this for 1 month day by day bars.
Still have some performance issues with the graph implementation.
Would find reliable graphs would add month and year view.
Thanks a lot!

sem's picture

First attempt to make year and month view is published on play store
in version 1.2.0 in case you click on day view graph it would switch to bar view for month and year view
If there any issues please let me know
Feedback on play store is highly appreciated

Hi SEM,

just updated to the latest Version, and it looks great, just that what i needed!
Now the last thing for me would be the ability to change between years, so that i can swipe
to the last year for example.

Keep on your good work, i give some positive feedback on Play Store also ;-)

Greetings

sem's picture

Thanks for feedback
I already thinking about swiping. But it looks like I need to some radical changes to make it happened.
Hope would to do it in few weeks.

Hi,

I finished my free Flukso-App https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.erkert.guardiaenergia

It's a very simple app that shows only the realtime data of one sensor.
The aim of this app is to warn the user if there is a overload, so that he can reduce the power consumpation. That's very usefull in Italy where the provider makes a dettachment if the consumption for 2 minutes is higher as a limit, and you must go to the counter to switch it on.

sem's picture

Welcome to the club :)
Never heard about such a disgrace as disconnecting the customer :) What fuses are for ?
I might expect something like this in Africa but not in Europe:)
How does it work ? is it some kind of limit on the contract or what ?

on3ptz's picture

sem , your app is not working with my flukso login

if i use a other login it works.

does it has something todo with the number in my login?

sem's picture

nope
I tested with different logins and it was ok. There is no build-in limits on number of accounts or any other restrictions.
The only limit right now is that app support only electricity type sensors

Could you give me some background on your setup ?
Which messages did you get on screen during login ?
can you login ?
If you can login does you setting page shows something?

Would be glad to help you. If you want direct contact just send mail from play store I would reply to you.

ArminE's picture

HI

@SEM
in Italy a household normally has only a contract of 3kW, you can get much more, but you then have do pay more.
In the last years the old counters were all replaced with modern digital counters. His counters not only watch your consumption, but they also trasmit the comsumption to the provider.

Thanks in advance

sem's picture

Hi
Could you login online ?
Do you have any electricity sensors registered?
Any messages you see on the screen during the login ?

sem's picture

v1.3.0 of the application just released on play store
this version should resolve login issues experienced by ON3PTZ&ON5GQ
I really appreciate feedback and cooperation from Bernard

on5gq's picture

@sem

congratulations Sem your app version 1.3.0 is now working 100% Keep going on a good work. This is the application which I was waiting fom the beginning with FLukso. GREAT JOB !

gjdorenbos's picture

Hi Sem,

Just installed 1.3.0 on a Samsung phone with Android 4.1.2.
My Flukso uses 3 current transformers to measure the 3 phases separately.

The app looks nice but there is something weird with the indication of the Watt consumption (the large number):

The Total Electricity shows the Watt consumption of phase 1 rather then the total value!

The Watt - last minute graph displays the correct values. Also Phase 1, 2 and 3 display OK.
After some time, the Total Electricity reading stops, indicating that it is waiting for data.
Only at that time the Watt consumption displays a value that could be correct for the total.

Changing the display from Total to a particular phase resumes the retrieving of data, but when the Total is selected, the Watt consumption is displayed wrong again.

Any clue what is going wrong?

sem's picture

Hi
Could you ,please, check in settings if phase 2 and 3 is included in total? it's configurable.
If not could you ,please, post me screenshots so I could exactly understand the problem.
thanks a lot!
