There is an android app published for fluksometer.

For the moment only paid version is available http://goo.gl/peu9n
Ads supported one would be out if I have some time after new year holidays.
Any suggestions on new features are welcome.

Any plans for support of Android v 2.x?

sem's picture

At this moment not.
it's much more difficult do it properly on 2.x and i don't see any interest this moment.
But if there would be a lot of people interested i might change my mind.
sorry

Hi everyone
I'm currently working on the new version of the application to provide support for water and gas metering information.
Unfortunately I can't make gas and water meters working with my flukso. So I'm looking for beta testers who would be interested to test this functionality and help me to an application better.
If you are interested , please send me private message with your contact info, so I can explain you how to get gas and water meter data available in your version of the application.
Thanks a lot in advance.

I'm proud to announce new major update of the application
Version 2.0.0 just published to the play store.
This version include support for gas and water sensors.
I really appreciate support I had from the members of this community. I wouldn't make it on my own
Thanks a lot!

P.S. If you already have an app installed you would need to select update sensors from the menu to see gas/water sensors in the list

I have the same problem. All phases are selected, but the total is just the sum of only phase 1. If I request the values manualy I see "nan" instead of the actual reading for the last value for phase 2 and 3.
realtime([[1368524232,25],...,[1368524281,25],[1368524282,26],[1368524283,25],[1368524284,25],[1368524285,25],[1368524286,25],[1368524287,25],[1368524288,25],[1368524289,25],[1368524290,25],[1368524291,"nan"]]);

Hello everyone
It's been a while since I had some time to work on the app.
But now I'm back at home and new version is almost ready for public release.

I seriously reworked networking part of the app to make it much faster. It should provide major improvements , especially for users with solar panels or multiple phases.
This is major rework and I would like to have more testing before public release.
Google is now allows me to do beta testing with limited number of user .
This is managed via "communities" .
So , please, if you are interested , join community : http://goo.gl/3EiLo and you should be able to install this version after that on "Play store".
I hope public release would be available very soon.
Thanks a lot!

I appreciate everyone effort during the testing period. App is working stable now . Rollout to production would start later today.
I would use the same community to distribute future beta releases too.

I'm working on new version and looking for testers for beta version.
Everyone how like to help testing and provide feedback on the way they would like to see a widgets in the app please join community http://goo.gl/2Yaei. Community members are allowed to access beta section of play store.
I really value your opinion
Thanks a lot

Sem,

I joined your group but still have to pay for the app. I would like to test but do not want to buy your app yet.

regards

Hi
At this moment google play doesn't provide this kind of possibility.
Beta version is only for the customer who would like to try out near features and give input before final release.
However you can always try an app, and ask for refund in 15 minutes( standard google policy ) . It's more than enough time to understand what app is doing and if it's something you are looking for
Regards

don't want to derail SEM's hard work, but since others have brought up points in this thread -

jrbenito+sherlock - FluksoViz is doing brilliant, even on my outdated 2.2.1 tablet. thank you.

ArminE - Guard Flukso is working reasonably well on my 4.0 phone. thank you.

SEM - I am trying to buy your app but #$%!@ google wallet is not making it easy. I'll keep trying. many thanks for your efforts.

sem's picture

I'm pro choice . More tools - the better they all get!

tintar's picture

thanks SEM for your efforts and patience. I've used ADK & eclipse to build a few toys and for a fact it is not exactly easy to work with - I do endorse people getting compensated when they build something useful.

thought I had your app paid for and installed, but then google did something weird and retracted it??!? as much as I hate paypal (oh and there are so many reasons for that), at least that used to work pretty well. google wallet is a whole new unpleasant thing (sorry again to derail with this trivia)

have a new 4.1 phone arriving in the next few days, maybe I'll have better luck with it.

tintar's picture

new phone arrived, still no luck with google-wallet/google-now, sorry SEM :-(

google is just making a horrible mess of things. once the thing gets rooted and titanium backup installed, all of this new gunk from google and samsung and virginmobile "extras" will be the first to go.

good news is that Armine's "Guard Flukso" is working perfectly now on the 4.1 phone (on my previous phone, the realtime-ish watts and running average looked correct, but the graph did nothing, and the timestamps were all stuck at 19:00:00 for some reason. but - my previous phone is on a hacked-up version of 4.0 which it is not "supposed" to be running, so that may have something to do with it.)

forget if I mentioned, but FluksoViz often crashes on my 2.2 tablet if remote is enabled. but if set to local only, it never quits. doesn't worry me and I'm not complaining - local only is just peachy. guessing it must be the outdated OS, I'm not bothered enough to fire up CatLog or anything ;-)

sem, i bought youre app. its great
is it normal that it says "no realtime data available" ?

sem's picture

Hi
Real time data only available if you are on the same network with your flukso device. Otherwise app would read information available from the flukso server and notify you that it can't reach real time data provider.
Thanks

denhuff's picture

thanks Sem, i needed to activated the option "use local data" in the FM
now it works
great app

sem's picture

I really glad issue is resolved
Hope app would help you to control your spending on energy.
you are welcome to join Google+ community ( http://goo.gl/2Yaei ) to get latest update on the app development and participate in beta testing of new releases.
I'm planning to have alpha release of v3 available after NY holidays
Have a nice holidays

Hi
I personally tested an app on Nexus 5. It should be ok

Hi I have FLUKSO with 2 clamps: 1 for single-phase power CONSUMPTION and 1 for solar GENERATION. Can your app show data like GENERATION minus CONSUMPTION, and show font in red/green if value is negative/positive?

That would be a useful feature and perfect for "Live Display" of flusko in household using a cheap smartphone as the "IHD" (in home display)

This is one area where OpenEnergyMonitor has emonGLCD which is lacking in flukso.
