I have my Flukso V2 ready to go, and have purchased a pair of pulse-output kw/h meters which mount to the DIN rail in my electricity meter box. I have a 100 amp meter for consumption and a separate 32 amp meter for solar generation. These meters are connected in-line with the mains from the relevant breakers.

As my meter box is outside, I'm planning on using my ethernet wiring to carry the pulse feed (+5v) from the Flukso (inside the house) to a custom cable which plugs into the closest Ethernet socket, then to the server rack where that port is patched into the wires directly from the meter box.

What is the maximum distance for a pulse cable over solid core Ethernet wiring, and also would you consider it safe?

i have installed the flukso like the description!
Does the fluksometer need an open port when he is connecting with a fritzboxrouter or just the wifi keys?
And connection with DHCP is ok?

on the website under the menu devices is written:
Serial Version Resets Last heartbeat Uptime Operations
FL02000372 216 1 07 Oct 2012 19:39:48 2d 2h remove

But under the menu sonsors:
No sensors available.

What could be the reason for this?
I can t see any graphics, nothing.

My old Flukso is not showing up in the graph.
I can connect to the internet so the connection is ok.

If I look at https://flukso.net/user/14/devices I see 2 devices but not the serial from the old flukso.
Removing the device and adding the old device results in the same serial nr
I removed both devices and added them again the serial from the old one changed from WA97000290 to FL97000290, why?

What more can I check?

I've been trying to get my Schlumberger G4 gasmeter from 1981 up-and-running with the gasprobe.
Fiddling about with it all weekend, and browsing the web in the mean time my (provisional) conclusion is that it has no pulse output. Can anybody confirm this?
With that (possibly) confirmed, it does have a reflective thingy on the least significant digit, so probably an optic sensor could work. Did anybody get that working and/or is there something off the shelf available for this? Thanks.
